Started off so promising, great cinematography, and then nothing went right for this movie. It got weird.
How did Jacob go blind?
Why did the elevator only go to three places?
Was Maria really a maid or a nurse? And where did she go?
How did the door get open when Zara had the key and he shot Anna?
Why was Anna begging him to open the door if it in fact wasn't important? Also why are they zombies? Why were they possessing people and manifesting as zombies? And then what is Isaac P. going to do now? Just write "don't open, dead inside" on the building? How is he going to fix it? It wasn't explained!
Where are they taking Brett? Did he mess up and now he's going to murdered?
Will there be a sequel?
Having Netflix and a lot of frustration after watching one bad movie after another, we thought we would make a blog to vent our frustrations and ask the questions that weren't answered. Sadly, some of the members don't post, no matter how much I nag. Please enjoy our content anyways, tanoshinde kudasai!

The Rezort (2016)
Rating: 4/5
I actually really enjoyed this film. It's pretty much Jurassic Park, but instead of dinosaurs, it's zombies. This could have been a 5/5 if Jeff Goldblum had been in it, as I love him.
The Rezort takes place in a time where the human race has recovered from a virus that brought the dead back to life. Apparently there was an actual war against the undead, which is weird in a way because zombies probably aren't good at tactical warfare. Valerie Wilton, played by Claire Goose, is the owner of The Rezort. It's a place you can go to get some good 'ole vengeance on the undead for killing your loved ones in the war that I'm sure they weren't even aware of.
Much the like the game Dead Rising, there is an zombie right's activist group, and of course someone at The Rezort is an undercover member. I'm sure we can see where this is going. Naive Sadie, the member of the activist group, was given a USB and told to copy some documents from The Rezort's computer. Sadie thought they were just going to get enough information to get The Rezort shut down, but instead it uploaded a virus that messed up all the security of the park.
To get into the park it is very similar to Jurassic Park, they have a big gate and jeeps, but this time the people get guns, and a guide! The zombies are locked to shooting targets, or kept behind invisible fences to give them a "free roam" feeling. Which isn't fair, it's like shooting fish in a barrel, but if that makes you feel like a man, good for you. It's not until nightfall that all the security systems in place fail. Everyone at The Rezort is killed pretty much instantly, the only one who survives the longest is the owner, Valerie.
Since I haven't really mentioned any other characters besides Sadie and Valerie I won't go into too much detail. Just know that two people survive, and Valerie is kinda a scumbag, but so are all the people who go there. It's definitely worth a watch, and I was pleasantly surprised by it, since I never seem to enjoy anything.
Dinosaur zombies would be pretty cool... I'm sure SyFy can do something with that.
